Welcome to a Place Where You’re Always Welcome
Calumet County offers a healthy mix of cities, villages, and townships in which to live. There are also farm homes as well as land to build on in between our incorporated areas. In general, the northern half of our County is more populated and offers a more urban lifestyle, especially in areas northwest near Appleton. The middle and southern parts of the County are generally more rural and dotted with charming towns and villages. But no matter where you choose to live, you’re usually never more than 20 minutes from a larger city or smaller town. Making life here the best of both worlds.
Appleton’s economy is well-diversified and strong, with manufacturing continuing to be a key driver. Healthcare, financial services, education, and other industries also provide thousands of jobs. Service, hospitality, and conventions round out the types of employment opportunities you’ll find here.
Appleton is continually included in national rankings for quality of life, affordability, and safety.
