Welcome to the Supper Club Capital of the Midwest®

A supper club is a dining experience like no other that includes great food, a unique atmosphere, and an unforgettable experience. Starting at the bar, where the most popular drink ordered is the Old Fashioned, a typical meal may include a relish tray, bread, soup, salad, an entrée, and ice cream drinks for dessert. Meaning to be an experience, dinner could take a couple of hours, especially during the weekend. Calumet County has 8 supper clubs to choose from and is the Supper Club Capital of the Midwest®.

Giving New Meaning to Get Your Goat

Nowhere in the country has goat milk production grown more rapidly than in southern Calumet County. So much so, that this area is now known as Dairy Goat Capital of the U.S. The Chilton Dairy and Drumlin Dairy near Brothertown milk around 15,000 goats, supplying local creameries like LaClare Family Creamery and many others around the country. And speaking of LaClare Family Creamery, not only do they create some of the finest and most award-winning goat cheeses in the nation, their Creamery and grounds are also something to be enjoyed. In addition to tours, visitors can learn how goat cheese is made, stop by their shoppe and dine at their café. There’s even a garden center where hanging baskets, plants, and garden supplies can be found. Goat yoga? Yep, they’ve got that, too.

Not One of the Great Lakes, But Still Pretty Great

Calumet County’s entire western edge is bordered by Lake Winnebago. At 137,700 acres, it is Wisconsin’s largest inland lake and covers an area of about 30 miles by 10 miles. Given its size, Lake Winnebago is an incredible place for boating, sailing, swimming, and year-round fishing. In fact, the lake is one of the most heavily fished in the state offering anglers nearly 20 species to try and catch from bass to walleye. But you don’t have to be on the water to enjoy the water. Lake Winnebago has 88 miles of shoreline providing amazing views from many beaches, parks, and trails.
